There’s a piece of good news for LG G2 owners residing in South Korea, the company is apparently rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for units tied to SK Telecom and LG U+, according to LG Phone Firmware which keeps track of company’s progress of updates for its handsets.
The update is rolling out as we speak in the region, and comes with V30D version. You may not get the update right away, and may have to wait for a few days before the notification can pop up on your device.
Android 5.0 Lollipop brings a host of improvements and new features for the handset. It brings the all-new Material design which introduces a different look and smooth animations, alongside improved lock screen notifications, ART runtime, security enhancements, and several more.
You can manually check for the update on your handset, and let us know if its available, alongside the improvements you can notice. Let’s hope that Android 5.0 roll out for the international variant will commence soon.
