Last week, the well-known Twitter leaker @evleaks mentions that LG G Pad 8.3 will make its way to Verizon in the coming days, which could be true after all.
Recently, a mysterious tablet with a model number VK810 cleared the FCC with support for the LTE bands 4 and 13 that are supported by Verizon, and it could be the LG G Pad 8.3 as it comes with the same dimensions and size as the original tablet.
While the filing doesn’t reveal the name of the tablet nor its specifications, we’re pretty sure it’s the LG G Pad 8.3 destined to reach the Big Red in the coming days.
If it’s is truly the same tablet, you should get an 8.3-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels, and is powered by a Snapdragon 600 chipset with a clock speed of 1.7GHz and Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and a massive 4,600 mAh batter.
Other features includes a 5 megapixel rear camera for photos and videos, 1.3MP front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth LE and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean out of the box.
Also keep in mind that LG and Verizon have not confirmed about the availability of the tablet on the Big Red’s network so a grain of salt is advised.
If it turns out to be true, will you get the tablet from Verizon?
