Lamborghini is launching a convertible version of its Sián, the Lamborghini Sián Roadster, and only 19 cars will be made. Remarkably, all of these exclusive vehicles have already been sold, highlighting the high demand and desirability of this limited-edition model.
The Lamborghini Sián Roadster comes equipped with a V12 engine that incorporates hybrid technology, producing a staggering 819 horsepower. This combination of traditional combustion power and modern hybrid technology allows the Sián Roadster to deliver an unparalleled driving experience, merging raw power with cutting-edge innovation.
Design and Customization
The Sián Roadster makes its debut in Blu Uranus, a color especially selected by Lamborghini’s Centro Stile. This department, in collaboration with the Ad Personam department, works closely with every Sián client to entirely personalize the color and finish of their Roadster. The Blu Uranus color encapsulates the blue of the sky and the green of the fields, evoking the freedom and driving elation delivered by the open-top Sián Roadster’s performance. The car is finished with Oro Electrum wheels, a color chosen by Lamborghini to signify electrification. The complementary interior is an elegant combination of white with Blu Glauco detailing and aluminum elements in Oro Electrum. New-design air vents produced via 3D printing allow customization with a client’s initials.
The level of customization available for the Sián Roadster is truly remarkable. Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program allows owners to tailor their vehicles to their exact specifications, ensuring that no two Sián Roadsters are alike. This bespoke approach extends to the smallest details, such as the 3D-printed air vents, which can be personalized with the owner’s initials, adding a unique touch to each vehicle.
Performance and Innovation
The Sián Roadster’s V12 engine is paired with a 48-volt e-motor, which provides an additional 34 horsepower. This electric motor is integrated into the gearbox to provide immediate response and improved performance. The hybrid system also includes a supercapacitor, which is three times more powerful than a conventional battery of the same weight. This innovative technology allows for rapid charging and discharging, enhancing the car’s overall efficiency and performance.
The Sián Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of over 217 mph (350 km/h). This impressive performance is complemented by advanced aerodynamics and lightweight materials, ensuring that the Sián Roadster not only looks stunning but also delivers exceptional handling and agility.
The Sián Roadster’s hybrid technology is a significant step forward for Lamborghini, showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. By combining the raw power of a V12 engine with the efficiency of an electric motor, Lamborghini is paving the way for the future of high-performance vehicles.
