Android smartphone users who would prefer to have the comfort of a larger screen and full QWERTY keyboard, to type out those larger than normal documents, might be interested in the new KT Spider Laptop.
KT has created the Spider Laptop to connect to Android smartphones for processing power, and contains no processor of its own, just a screen and keyboard, together with some handy additional ports for peripherals.
To connect the KT Spider Laptop the Android phone uses a single MHL cable, together with software designed and developed by KT. KT unveiled their new Spider Laptop at the recent IFA consumer electronics trade show in Berlin, which is equipped with a massive 8000 mAH battery to help power its screen and keyboard.
“We are confident that the latest addition to our Spider concept lineup will improve the user experience of smartphone owners,” said KT spokeswoman Kim Yoon-jeong. “The Spider Laptop represents KT’s hardware development capabilities and our drive to innovate the market for consumers to get the best they can from the fast-paced technological advancement of the information technology industry.”
Unfortunately no information on worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
