Yesterday we heard a rumor that Apple were getting ready to launch iTunes Radio in Canada, and now according to a recent report it looks like Apple has plans to expand iTunes Radio to other countries early next year.
It looks like the new yesterday may have been a little premature with the release date for iTunes Radio in Canada, as it is now expected in early 2014, along with Australia, the UK, and New Zealand.
Apple has yet to announced when they plan to expand iTunes Radio outside of the US, when iTunes Match launched it was available in the US at first and was then rolled out to other countries.
iTunes Radio is available for free if you have an existing subscription to iTunes Match, which is currently available for $20 a year, and allows you to stream you music to your iOS devices and your Mac direct from the cloud.
Apple is looking to develop iTunes Radio with a number of new features, one of those they are working on is the ability to stream new albums on iTunes Radio before they are actually released.
It will be interesting to see how Apple develops iTunes Radio, and how it will stack up against other services like Spotify and other streaming services.
