iRealm has created a multifunctional smart plug that is capable of helping you control your lamps, fans and more directly from your smartphone or the integrated touchpad. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the iRealm smart plug which has launched via Kickstarter this week and is now available to back with early bird pledges starting from $18 for the iRealm Dimmer Plug. While pledges for the iRealm Smart plug start from $36 roughly £28 with worldwide shipping on both expected to commence sometime around December 2019.
“The touchpad access is faster and more convenient than getting up to flip a switch, open your mobile app or even call out to a smart home voice assistant. Its upgraded mobility puts your devices’ control at your fingertips and in the palm of your hand, making them readily accessible whenever you need them.
The touchpad is illuminated with status icons that give you the whole picture without the need to login into a mobile application. After a short period of inactivity, these icons turn off making the touchpad a good bedside companion. The touchpad also has a configurable nightlight feature that conveniently turns on automatically in low ambient light to help you find your way. “

As you might’ve seen in the video the Smart Plug 2.0 touchpad even comes with a soft lock, which can be activated or deactivated from the touchpad or the mobile app which is available for both iOS and Android devices.
