Apple’s new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones are now available to buy in the UK and Apple stores around the UK have opened early to allow customers to buy these new handsets.
The launch of the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus is expected to be Apple’s most popular iPhone launch to date, Apple has already said that sales have exceeded last years pre-orders.
The new iPhones are showing shipping times of one to two weeks for the 6S and three to four weeks for the 6S Plus on Apple’s online store, so the only places to get one today will be at Apple Stores and also some of the mobile carriers in the UK.
The new iPhones come with a range of upgrades over the previous iPhone 6 models, this includes Apple’s new 3D Touch Force Touch display and a faster Apple A9 processor.
The handsets also comes with 2GB of RAM and feature a new 12 megapixel camera, the 6S Plus also features Optical Image Stabilization.
Both devices come with Apple’s latest mobile OS, iOS 9 and prices for the iPhone 6S start at £539 and the 6S Plus at £619. The handsets are now available in four different colors, Silver, Gold, Space Grey and Rose Gold.
