Last week we heard that Apple had received the final regulatory approval to launch the new iPhone 5 in China, and now Apple has given an official launch date for the handset in China.
Apple’s iPhone 5 will go on sale in China on the 14th of December, just in time for Christmas and we suspect this could end up being a very popular device in China for the holiday shopping season.
As well as launching the iPhone 5 in China this month, Apple will also be launching their new iPad Mini in China, and the smaller Apple tablet will be available from Friday the 7th of December, which is a week before the new iPhone 5 will launch.
