As we are getting closer to January, we are starting to here more and more iPad 2 rumors, yesterday we saw a picture or a reported iPad Mini, and now there is a new rumor doing the rounds about the iPad 2.
According to Japanase Mac Blog MacOtakara, the iPad 2 will feature a smaller bezel than the existing iPad, and will also feature a flatter back panel and a wide range speaker.
MacOtakara are quoting Chinese sources for the latest rumor, and they are reporting that the iPad 2 will feature the same size display as the original iPad, although it will apparently be three millimeters smaller than the existing version.
This is something we haven’t hear about before, previously we have heard that the iPad 2 will feature a front facing video camera to make use of Apple’s FaceTime video chat, and may also feature a rear facing camera as well.
These possible new design changes to the iPad don’t seem that far fetched, when Apple updated the iPhone from the 2G to the 3G it featured a range of design changed and it makes sense that the iPad 2 will also feature a small design revamp.
It certainly will be interesting to see what the iPad 2 is like, Apple has set the benchmark for tablets with the iPad, and we think they will be looking to improve on the original iPad design when the new model is launched.
