If you are looking for a new and high tech way to learn to play the piano. You might be interested to know that ION has this week unveiled its new Ion Piano Apprentice, designed to aid you whilst learning to play the piano. The Ion Piano Apprentice can be used with either your iPad, iPhone or iPod and transforms it into a personal piano instructor.
The accompanying application includes Scott Houston (aka “The Piano Guy”) as your instructor ,who guides you through the basics with the aid of keys that light up to indicate the notes which need to be played.
“PIANO APPRENTICE is a lightweight, highly portable 25-note keyboard with built-in stereo speakers that deliver authentic piano sound and keys that respond to your touch.”
The Ion Piano Apprentice is equipped with a 25-note keyboard with touch sensitive keys and comes with built-in stereo speakers. The new Ion Piano Apprentice will be arriving in stores during September and will be priced at around $100 and can be powered either by 4 x AA batteries or the supplied power adapter and it is Core MIDI Compliant.
