Apple is expected to announce their new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones on the 9th of September, we previously heard that pre-orders would start the same week and that the handsets would launch on the 18th of September.
Now it would appear that Apple will start taking pre-orders on the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus handsets on Friday the 11th of September.
The news comes from Mac4ever who have received some information from one of the mobile carriers in France, the screenshot below shows a pre-order date of the 11th of September.
The iPhone 6S and 6S plus are rumored to come with a similar design to the existing devices, the handset will get a number of hardware upgrades over the existing model.
Both devices are said to come with a new Apple A9 processor and also 2GB of RAM, there will also be a new front facing 1080p FaceTime camera and a new 12 megapixel iSight camera which can record 4K video.
The display sizes on both devices will remain the same, although both will get a bump in resolution, the 6S will come with a Full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and the 6S Plus will come with a Quad HD display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, both handsets will also feature Force Touch.
Apple will release the next major version of their mobile OS with their new iPhones, iOS 9, this is expected to be released for existing devices before the new models go on sale on the 18th of September.
