Apple has sent out invites to its iPad Air 2 Event, which takes place next week on the 16th of October, and now it looks like we may have more details on the new iPad Air 2.
The current iPad Air comes with 1GB of RAM, the RAM found in the current models is Elpida DDR3 SDRAM, and now a photo has been posted on Weibo showing a 2GB Elipda module which is said to be for the new iPad Air 3.
Apple are also expected to give the new iPad Air 2 a number of other updates, which will include their second generation 64-bit mobile processor, the Apple A8 that launched in the iPhone 6.
The new iPad Air 2 is also rumored to come with a fingerprint sensor and TouchID, and Apple are expected to make Apple Pay available in this new tablet.
We have also heard rumors that the new iPad Air 2 will come with an update front facing FaceTime HD camera and an 8 megapixel rear facing camera, this could be the same camera module that is used in the iPhone 6.
As well as the new iPad Air, we are also expecting Apple to announce a new iPad Mini 3 with Retina Display, plus a new Mac Mini, new Apple TV and also some Retina Display iMacs.
