Hulu will soon be rolling out a new feature that will allow Android and iOS users to download content for viewing off-line. Similar features are already available from online streaming providers such as Amazon and Netflix and now Hulu will be following suit. Hulu Will be providing the ability to subscribers of its “No Ads” plans. iOS users will be able to enjoy the downloadable content first and may have already noticed a new ‘Downloads’ section in the updated Hulu application.
Android users will need to wait just a little longer but will soon be able to benefit from the ability to download up to 25 titles across a maximum of five devices. Once the content is downloaded you will have 30 days to start watching until it will expire. Although you will be able to renew it if the content is still available on Hulu. Once you start watching content Hulu provides a window a 48-hour is for you to finish it before access is removed.
The ability to download Hulu on iOS devices is already available but the company says that “downloads will be coming to Android users soon”.
