Smartphone maker Huawei has announced that they have shipped a total of 16.8 million smartphone in quarter three of 2014, the company also revealed details on what type of handsets they are selling.
Huawei announced that 26 percent of their smartphone shipments in quarter three with for their mid range and high end devices, and they also announce details on their growth in a number of countries.
Huawei have seen their biggest growth in the Middle East and Africa with a 322 percent increase, followed by an increase of 98 percent in the Asia Pacific region, 51 percent in Latin America and 18 percent in China.
The company has seen increased success with the launch of devices like their new Ascend Mate 7 which has sold over 1 million units since it launched recently.
It will be interesting to see if the company can continue to grow its smartphone sales at their current rates, they could end up being a very popular smartphone maker.
