Huawei has today announced that their new MediaPad 10 FHD running Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system, will be arriving in stores worldwide during September 2012.
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is powered by a K3v2 Cortex-A9 1.4GHz quad-core processor, which is supported by a 16-core GPU. Combined with a 6600mAh battery, that is enough to power the tablet for around 10 hours.
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD weighs just 580g and measure 8.8mm thick, and sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Together with a 8 megapixel autofocus rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. Richard Yu, Chairman of Huawei Device, explained in the press release.
“Most consumers use tablets for entertainment purposes such as gaming, viewing multimedia content, browsing the internet and reading e-books,”-“We have created the MediaPad 10 FHD to be extraordinary – to excel in all of the entertainment capabilities including speed, power, web-browsing, high definition display and audio, and packaging it all in a compact and sleek body.”
Even though the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is shipping this month, Huawei haven’y yet disclosed the price of their new tablet.
