The new HTC One Max will launch in the UK shortly, the handset will also launch in other countries around the world by the end of the month, although it looks like it will not be headed to Canada.
HTC has given Mobile Syrup a statement, which confirms that the HTC One Max will not be available in Canada with the various mobile carriers, you can see the statement below.
HTC devices differ from country to country, we work closely with carrier partners in each region to determine what is best for their consumers. Every market is different and has specific needs and demands. We consider a number of factors such as, the HTC devices currently available, the competition etc. At this time the current HTC line up of devices is sufficient for the Canadian marketplace.”
The HTC One Max will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the handset features a 5.9 inch full HD display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The One Max is powered by a quad core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, it also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card which supports up to 64GB cards.
Cameras on the HTC One Max include a front facing 2.1 megapixel camera, and a rear facing HTC Ultrapixel camera, the device also comes with the latest version of HTC’s custom UI, HTC Sense 5.5, plus a fingerprint scanner.
