HTC is rumored to be working on the miniature version of their latest flagship device dubbed as the HTC One M8 Mini. We’ve seen several rumors in the past about the purported handset, some of them even the specifications the handset is expected to bring at the table.
Now, the prolific @evleaks tweeted that HTC One M8 Mini is headed to Verizon. There’s no word if the Big Red will exclusively carry the smartphone, or if it will be similar to HTC One M8 where Verizon had exclusivity to sell the handset for the first two weeks after its launch.
The notorious leaker also mentioned the specifications of the alleged HTC One M8 mini a few weeks back. The purported HTC One M8 Mini is rumored to come with a 4.5-inch display sporting a 720p resolution, and will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz with 1GB of RAM on board.
Other rumored specs include 16GB storage with a microSD card slot, a 13MP camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera, Wifi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and should come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6.0 on top of it. It will also feature the same on-screen buttons as the flagship device.
Based on rumors, the device should hit retail in May, but there’s no official word from HTC or Verizon about its launch. We’ll update you as soon as it gets official.
