HTC are expected to release a new smartphone shortly, the HTC One M8 Eye, which will be an updated version of the HTC One M8.
The handset has now appeared in TENNA, which is China’s equivalent of the FCC, and the device comes with the model number HTC M8Ew, the W possibly stands for China’s WCDMA networks.
As we heard previously the HTC One M8 Eye will come with updated cameras over the existing model, and the handset is rumored to feature dual 13 megapixel cameras on the back.
The current HTC One M8 comes with dual Ultrapixel cameras, which are 4 megapixel versions, so these new cameras on the HTC One M8 Eye should be a significant update.
The new M8 Eye is also rumored to come with a 5.2 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and tthe handset is said to be powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.
HTC are rumored to be making the HTC One M8 Eye official at their press event next week, which takes place on the 8th of October, company is also rumored to launch their new HTC Action Camera at the event.
