Earlier today HTC announced their latest Android smartphone, the HTC Desire 510, and now UK mobile carrier O2 has announced that they will be offering the handset on their network from September.
O2 will be offering the new HTC Desire 510 on their O2 refresh tariff, although as yet O2 has not revealed any information on how much the device will retail for.
The HTC Desire 510 will be offered on the revolutionary O2 Refresh tariff, which means those who want to upgrade early from another handset need only pay off the remaining value of their handset (rather than the combined value of handset and Airtime for the remaining time on their contract – potentially saving hundreds of pounds to stay bang-up-to-date).
As a reminder, the new HTC Desire 510 comes with a quad core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 4.7 inch FWVGA display.
Other specifications on the handset include a microSD card slot for expansion and 8GB of built in storage, you can add in another 128GB of storage via the microSD card slot.
The handset also comes with a VGA front camera and a 5 megapixel rear camera, plus Android 4.4 KitKat, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE and WiFi. As soon as we get some more details on how much the Desire 510 will retail for, we will let you guys know.
