HP has silently started to sell the HP 10 Plus Android tablet online on both its website and Amazon for $279.99. There’s no official announcement from the company about its release, but there’s a chance we may not get to see one since it’s already up for sale.
The tablet comes with a pretty decent set of specifications on board, despite its affordable price tag. There’s a 10.1-inch display on board, sporting a resolution of 1900 by 1200 pixels.
HP 10 Plus measures 10.43 x 6.89 x 0.37 in and weighs only 1.46 lbs. There’s a quad-core 1GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot for extra storage and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system out of the box.
Other features include 5MP rear camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 7,700 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the tablet.
Overall, it appears to be a very decent tablet with good specifications, and a pocket-friendly price tag. Plus, it’s running Android 4.4 KitKat, and comes with one-year limited warranty.
