There are hoards of gamers out there on the Xbox One that are looking forward to getting a Halo game on their shiny new consoles. We heard not too long ago that Halo 5 wouldn’t be coming this year. That tip came for the voice actor that plays Master Chief in the game series. He also tipped that Halo 2 Anniversary would be landing in 2014.
This week, Microsoft Studios head Phil Spencer tweeted something that is going to tease gamers and make them anticipate E3 2014. Spencer wrote, “Halo news will be coming at E3. 343i has a great plan in place, will be cool to share with everyone.” That tweet was a response to a gamer asking what’s up with the next Halo.
E3 will be held this summer and the details may be nothing more than a confirmation of what we have already heard. I am sure many gamers out there are hoping that the details offered at E3 will mean Halo 5 is coming sooner than expected. It’s rare in the game world for a title to be early, but quite common for them to be late.
