Despite what any given sixteen-year-old boy might think, there is apparently a person alive who not only wouldn’t kill for the chance to work on the next entry in the Halo franchise, but has already done so and found that it’s not exactly what it’s cracked up to be.
“I had a great run at Microsoft,” Payton told Kotaku. “I don’t regret one day of it. But after a few years, there came a point where I wasn’t creatively excited about the project anymore.”
