Yesterday, Asus who make the Google Nexus 7 tablet announced their latest financial results, and they also revealed how many of the Google Nexus 7 tablet they are selling per month.
Asus said that sales of the Google Nexus 7 tablet are getting close to 1 million units per month, which is not surprising considering the tablets low starting price of $199.
“At the beginning, it was, for instance, 500K units a month, then maybe 600, 700K. This latest month, it was close to 1 million,” Asustek Chief Financial Officer David Chang told The Wall Street Journal.
We suspect this number will increase significantly over the next few months, as Google has just released the new 32GB Nexus 7 tablet and also dropped the price of the 16GB model down to just $199.
