Google has updated their Google Maps app for their Android platform and for Apple’s iOS platform. The latest version of Google Maps for iOS and Android now display relevant adverts at the bottom of the screen when your search using the app.
The adverts displayed are apparently relevant to your location, and will show businesses near your location. It is not surprising that Google has added this feature to their free maps app, ad adverts are still a major part of Google’s business.
