It’s been a while since Google Glass went on sale in the US. The device was available to purchase for the general public in the US as well lately.
If you’re residing in the UK and want to get your hands on the wearable device, you be glad to find out that the search engine giant now sells Google Glass in the UK. However, it may not turn out to be light on your pocket, it comes with a whopping £1,000 price tag.
Beginning today, we’re extending our open beta Explorer program to the UK. The world sees the UK as a center (actually, a centre) of innovation. It has produced some of the greatest technology inventors and inventions of the last century, and people on the ground are always excited to explore new products and ideas.
So, if you are here in the UK and fancy a demo, RSVP to try Glass at our London Demo Days on June 27-28th at http://londonthroughglass.splashthat.com/ or join the Explorer Program and get Glass at www.google.co.uk/glass.
Google has updated the devices page on Google support site as well, and lists UK as the country where customers can purchase Google Glass. On the Google Play Store listing, it says the device will ship within one to two business days.
So, who’s planning on getting a Google Glass?
