Google added the option for in app billing to its Google Play store last year, and now Google has added the ability for in app subscriptions, so basically you will now be able to pay a monthly or annual fee for subscriptions to things like magazines, games etc.
Apple has had this option available in their iOS app store for a while, and Google Play developers will now have another way to generate revenue from their apps with in app subscriptions.
As well as being used for magazines and games, developers can also use in app subscriptions for a number of things which include, music, video content, game levels, bundled products and lots more.
