Gigabyte has this week unveiled a range of new smartphones this created in the form of the new Gigabyte GSmart Guru G1, Roma R2 and Simba SX1.
The Gigabyte Roma R2 is fitted with a 4.0-inch IPS screen supports a resolution of 800×480 pixels and powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core low-power A7 processor supported by 1GB of RAM. Its been designed for the lower end of the smartphone market but comes with dual SIM support and features a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 5 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs.
The new Gigabyte Guru G1 is a little more powerful and comes equipped with a 5-inch display offering a 1920×1080 resolution and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor supported by 2GB of RAM. Featuring 5 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 13 megapixel rear facing camera. Check out the video below to learn more:
The Gigabyte Simba SX1 is a mid range smartphone powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, supported by 1 GB of RAM with 4 GB of internal storage and is fitted with a 5-inch HD display with a 1280×720 pixel resolution.
All the new Gigabyte smartphones come supplied running Google’s latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Gigabyte, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
