Evernote is one my personal favorites when its comes to note-taking. It’s not only handy for taking note, but for several other purposes as well. If you happen to be regular user of Evernote for Windows, you be glad to find out that the app has received an update with some impressive features.
The latest update adds two much needed features to the application, including the ability to annotate images from within the app, and faster synchronization.
I personally like the image editing feature introduced in the new version. People tend to save a lot of photos clippings and images on Evernote, and the problem arises when you have to add arrows or text or any other element to the images as you have to open them in another app. Now, Evernote lets users add annotations, such as arrows, text, etc. from within the app.
Simply bring your mouse cursor over an image and you will see an “Annotate” button on your screen. Just click on it and you can add arrows, stamps, text, shapes or even crop/resize the images from within the app.
Secondly, it also offers faster sync for business users who have hundreds of clippings and notes in their Evernote account.
