Arduino enthusiasts that are looking for a new creative project to build, might take inspiration from a new electromechanical drawing machine that has been built, which is powered by music and has been constructed using an Arduino Uno micro-controller.
Check out the video below to see the unique music driven drawing machine in action as it creates individual masterpieces without any human interaction.
This electro-mechanical drawing machine is an homage to the American artist Jackson Pollock who worked in the style of abstract expressionism. The machine is driven by the music, which is analysed by a special algorithm that controls electric valves, servo motors with brushes, and special fan intended for paint spraying. Depending on the frequency and amplitude of peaks of music, the device varies the intensity of ink supply, the speed with which the paper is moving, and the activity of the brushes.
