UK mobile carrier EE (Everything Everywhere) has announced that it will be offering 4G roaming in certain European countries.
The service will be available to the company’s UK customers when they travel to Spain or France, and it looks like the roaming charges are competitive, compared to what other operators charge when you travel in Europe.
EE will be offering their customers 100MB of 4G roaming data in France and Spain for a charge of £3, some networks charge considerably more than this for the same amount of data over 3G.
EE intends to roll the service out to other European countries in the future, and they plan to offer 4G roaming in the USA, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands by the summer.
EE have had a head start on the other networks with their 4G LTE service, and the company needs to continue to do things like this to keep ahead of their competitors.
