EchoStar has unveiled something the TV fans going to really like, assuming your TV fan in the UK. The company has unveiled a new Freeview+ DVR that is hailed as the world’s slimmest. The DVR is only 270 mm wide by 204 mm deep by 14 mm high.
Inside that in case is a 500 GB hard drive capable of storing 300 hours of programming. The box supports HD channels and has dual tuners. Dual tuners allow you to record one program while watching another.
The thin DVR also supports digital content streaming from BBC iPlayer and BoxOffice365. The device can also be updated online with new software. The DVR will launch tomorrow and can be pre-ordered via Amazon and other UK retailers.
