On the weekend the new Droid Turbo appeared on Verizon’s website and now it looks like we have some more information on the Droid Turbo release date.
Verizon has put a countdown timer on their Droid Does website, and it confirms that the release date for a new Droid smartphone is the 29th of October, so it looks like this is when the Droid Turbo will launch.
We already know a number of the specifications on the new Droid Turbo, which include a 5.2 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The handset will be powered by a quad core 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor from Qualcomm, and it will also come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage.
Other specifications on the new Droid Turbo include a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video chat and a 21 megapixel rear camera.
The handset will come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and it will also feature a massive 3,900 battery, which is said to give you up to two days of usage between charges, the device will also come with a rapid charging feature.
As soon as we get some more details on the handset, and confirmation that the Droid Turbo release date is the 29th of October, we will let you guys know.
