Dodge isn’t big on convertibles, and its muscle cars lack a drop-top option. That doesn’t sit well with one Dodge dealer called Keffer Dodge. The dealer shipped three 2019 Challengers to a company called Convertible Builders, and they came back with convertible tops.
There are mysteries about the builds, like what did the builder do to offset the loss of rigidity when the loss of the hardtop. A pair of the convertibles are R/T Scat Pack models with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 under the hood that makes 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque.
The third is a lesser R/T models that has a 375hp 5.7l V8. The custom drop tops are priced at $64,000, $60,000, and $56,300. That means that the convertible is about a $16,000 option. Compared to an R/T Scat Pack Widebody with an automatic.
