We have featured quite a few different cameras here at Geeky Gadgets, but the Chobi Cam gives new meaning to the phrase ‘compact digital camera’. The Chobi Cam as you have probably guessed is from Japan, and it could quite possibly be the smallest camera we have seen so far.
The Chobi Cam measures 1,7 inches by 1.1 inches by 0.5 inches and weighs in at just half an ounce. It is capable of capturing both video and still pictures and features a microSD card slot.
Don’t lets its small size fool you though as the Chobi Cam can record video in AVI at a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels, and it can snap still photos at a resolution of 2048 x 1,536 pixels.
The Chobi Cam features a built in voice recorder and it can capture up to fifty minutes of audio. It comes with a USB 2.0 connection so you can download you photos and video to your computer and also charge the Chobi Cam.
It looks like it is only available in Japan at the moment for around $100, there are no details on when we are likely to see it in the US and Europe.
