A company called Charge in the UK has a new EV that it is offering to the well-heeled who want to be green. While the car has all new tech underneath, it has the body of a classic 1967-1968 Ford Mustang on the outside. The car will be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Charge will offer all-wheel drive with independent wheel control. It promises a top speed of 149 mph and a 0-60-mph time of under 3.99 seconds. The driving range is 200 miles per charge of the 64 kWh battery pack.
The vehicle promises maximum power of 400 kW with max wheel torque of 7500 Nm. The battery pack can be charged at a rate of 50 kW. Only 499 units will be made, and the £300,000 price is just the starting point.
