Canon has added a new compact camera to its range with the launch of the Canon PowerShot N, which comes with a 12.1 megapixel High-Sensitivity CMOS sernsor and DIGIC 5 Image Processor, plus 8x optical zoom and a 28mm wide angle lens.
The Canon PowerShot M features a 2.8 inch capacitive tilt-touch LCD display, and it is capable of recording full high definition video in 1080p, and comes with a dedicated movie button.
“An ever-increasing number of internet users continue to post their own photos and videos online,” said Yuichi Ishizuka, executive vice president and general manager, Imaging Technologies & Communications Group, Canon U.S.A. “The new PowerShot N opens up a new dimension of photographic expression, helping people express their personal style and creative flair with powerful innovative Canon technologies.”
The Canon PowerShot M will go on sale in April and will be available in a choice of either white or black, it will retail for $299.99.
