BlueStacks the awesome application that allows you to run Android applications on other operating systems such as Windows 8, Mac OS and Windows RT. Has this week announced that their software has been installed more than 5 million times since its launch.
Back in September of this year BlueStacks announced they would be partnering with AMD allowing the App to be installed on AMD-powered Windows 7 and Windows 8 systems.
BlueStacks Android app player has been created to enable users to run graphics-intensive Android apps on desktop PCs via its patent-pending “Layercake” technology.
“LayerCake is a disruptive technology that enables PC manufacturers to bring the best of the Android ecosystem to their customers. We are excited to work with BlueStacks to make the emerging Android mobile apps market part of the broader computing arena,”
BlueStacks has also been partnering with app developers such as the creators of Fruit Ninja, SliceIt!, Townsmen, Evernote, StumbleUpon and Barnes & Noble (Nook). Jump over to the BlueStacks website for more information and to download a copy of the software.
