The new BlackBerry Slider or BlackBerry Venice is expected to launch before the end of the year, the handset will come with Google’s Android OS and now we have some more photos of the devices.
The BlackBerry Slider is rumored to come with a 5.4 inch display that will feature a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the device will also feature a slide out QWERTY keyboard.
The Slider is rumored to be powered by a hexa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor which will apparently be clocked at 1.8GHz, it will also come with 3GB of RAM.
There are no details as yet on how much storage the handset will come with, although we would expect it would come with at least 32GB and may also feature a microSD card slot.
We have also heard some information previously about the cameras on the handset, the front camera is said to be a 5 megapixel unit and the rear camera is either a 16 megapixel or 18 megapixel version.
The BlackBerry Slider is rumored to be launching in the US in November, the handset is expected to be made available with all of the four major mobile carriers.
As soon as we get some more information about BlackBerry’s first Android smartphone, including confirmation of the handsets specifications, we will let you guys know.
