Xbox gamers looking for a new way to control driving games directly from their Xbox One X controller any more precise way. May be interested in a new 3D printed rack and pinion steering system created by Thingiverse member “pixel2” to provide 100° of rotation.
“What you need: 22mm diameter bearing, 7mm thick, 8mm center. Get one from that dusty fidget spinner you have laying around…also skateboards, superglue. I imagine most people will need a custom wheel for their hand size/play style. It will be interesting to see what you guys come up with. It’s going to feel strange in the beginning because you probably have hundreds of hours driving with just the stick. Give it time to create new muscle memory. Over time the frame will scuff the controller body. Adhesive felt on the underside of the frame might help.”
Project Cars 2 settings:
– steering deadzone 0
– steering sensitivity 53
– speed sensitivity 70
– controller damping 3
