The AutoBot car connection kit allows you to connect and to your cars OBD-II connector. Most cars built in the last 10 years should have one. AutoBot makes car technology easy accessible allowing you to take advantage of features normally only available in new cars or through professionally installed data reading systems.
Once connected the AutoBot syncs to a web service, accessible via a smart phone app or a web browser allowing you to then log and analyze data about your car through the application.
Other features the app will allow you to carry out include : locking and unlocking doors, controlling window settings, locating your car if you forget where you parked or it gets stolen, diagnostic checks.The device can also be set to automatically message friends and family when the driver has been in an accident.
The new Autobot system will be released in closed Beta During CES 2011 and will be available to purchase during 2012 for an expected retail price of around $300.
