AT&T has upgraded its Family Plan, offering users with multiple lines additional data of up to 10GB with unlimited calls and texts.
For users with two lines, the carrier would charge $130 and adding more lines will increase the monthly charges by $15. This means that a family of six users will have to pay $160 and in return, they would get unlimited calls and texts, coupled with 10GB of monthly data.
The offer is also available for new customers who will switch from Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile or any other carrier. Although it’s available for those new customers who sign up for a data plan of 10GB or more and purchase a phone with AT&T Next or purchase a new smartphone at full retail price. Obviously this plan would be better for those who will bring their existing smartphone, and do not require a new one.
Get ready to take advantage of AT&T’s1 (NYSE:T) best-ever prices for people wanting a family-size bucket of data and unlimited talk and text on the nation’s most reliable 4G LTE network.2 As an example, a family of four can now get unlimited talk and text, and 10GB of data – enough for the whole family to share – for $160 a month.3
These best-ever prices on AT&T’s best-in-class network are available beginning tomorrow to any AT&T customer, including small businesses with up to 10 lines, and customers of Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and other wireless carriers who switch to AT&T.
This is a pretty decent plan for those operating family plans on the carrier and require more data usage for a minimal cost. Verizon also offer a similar plan, but it’s charging $260 for it and when compared with it, it surely looks attractive.
