It looks like the new camera on Apple’s iPhone 8 Plus is a major improvement over the iPhone 7 Plus. DXOMark have given the new camera their highest score of any smartphone to date.
The company have the camera on Apple’s iPhone 8 Plus a score of 94, this is their highest score ever for a mobile device for taking photos.
The handset scored 89 in video, this is lower than the current leader which is the Google Pixel that holds a score of 91 for videos.
So it looks like the new iPhone 8 Plus is the best smartphone on the market for taking photos and the second best device for recorfing videos.
Apple are launching their new iPhone 8 in November and it will be interesting to see if this handset scores more than the iPhone 8 Plus and if it can knock the Google Pixel off the top spot for videos.
