The Apple Watch will be launching some time in April and now according to a recent report, the company is considering launched dedicated Apple Watch stores.
Apple is apparently looking to launch dedicated Apple Watch stores within large retail outlets, and the company is apparently in the middle of preparing these in Paris.
Apple’s Angela Ahrendts has apparently been organizing these new Apple Watch stores at a number of high end stores in Paris, which includes Galeries Lafayette on the Champs Elysees.
Apple is also said to be looking at launching these mini stores which will just sell the Apple Watch and accessories within a number of high end retail stores in other countries, although it is not clear as yet on whether any of these stores will be available for the launch of their first smartwatch in April.
There will be three versions of Apple’s smartwatch at launch, the entry level Watch Sport which will retail for $349, the Watch which is a mid range model with stainless steel bands and a high end 18k gold model, the Watch Edition which is rumored to retail for around $5,000.
We previously heard that Apple had ordered around 5 million units of their smartwatch from its suppliers for their initial run, demand for the device is expected to be high when it launches in April.
