We are expecting Apple to launch their new Apple iWatch at a press event in September, the device is expected to be unveiled along with the new iPhone 6.
Although according to a recent report, the Apple iWatch may actually be delayed, and production of the device may not start until November.
The news comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo, who has now said that production of the Apple iWatch has been delayed to to the complexity of the project.
We believe developing the hardware and OS of iWatch will be a much more difficult task than for Apple’s existing products.
Considering that Apple recently hired a couple of former Nike FuelBand engineers, and a top executive from Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer, the device could actually be delayed, as Apple probably would not be adding to its iWatch Team if the device was due to go into production this month or next for a September release.
We are really looking forward to seeing the new Apple iWatch, there are rumored to be two different models, a ‘Designer’ version and a fitness version.
Whether or not the new iWatch will launch in September along with the iPhone 6 remains to be seen, as soon as we get some more details, including some actual photos of the device, we will let you guys know.
