It’s been a few days since Apple released the latest iOS 7.1 OS for its range of devices, and introduced a bunch of new features. Previously, it was reported that iOS 7.1 adoption rate rose to 6 percent in mere 24 hours.
Now, according to a new report from Chitika, the adoption of iOS 7.1 has reached 18 percent in North America in just 72 hours after launch, after the latest update went live.
The data is collected from millions of ad impressions originating from iOS devices from Mar. 9 through Mar. 12, for research purposes, and concluded the adoption number to be at 17.9 percent to be exact.
The latest iOS 7.1 comes with a bunch of new features and improvements for iDevices, including CarPLay support, improvements to Siri and Touch ID on iPhone 5S, as well as a performance improvements for the iPhone 4, a number of visual tweaks and more.
As with every other OS update, this did come with it’s own set of problems, with many users facing battery drain issues on their iDevices right after the update.
