Apple and Samsung have been fighting it out in court for some time, Samsung were recently ordered to pay Apple a further $290 million at the end of last year.
The two companies have further patent issues to discuss, and now Apple CEO Tim Cook and Samsung CEO Oh-Hyun Kwon will meet up next month in an attempt to settle their ongoing legal issues.
According to Reuters, the two CEOs will attend a mediation on or before the 19th of February, both companies in house lawyers will be present at the meeting.
The mediation is an attempt by the two companies to come to an agreement on patent issues before their next court case, which is scheduled to take place in March.
Samsung and Apple still continue to have a business relationship, even though they have ongoing legal issues, and Samsung still supplies Apple with many parts for its iOS devices.
Whether the two companies will be able to come to some sort of agreement, which would put an end to their various legal disputes remains to be seen.
