Yesterday Huawei announced their new MediaPad tablet, and also announced that it would come with Android 3.2, this was the first we had heard about Honeycomb 3.2 and now we have some more details on the latest version of Google’s mobile and tablet operating system.
Android Honeycomb 3.2 will come with a range of new features, including support for multiple display sizes including 7 inch tablets, and it will also offer support for Qualcomm processors as well as NVIDIA Tegra 2 processors.
Honeycomb 3.2 is expected to offer a range of bug fixes , plus improved hardware acceleration and a number of apps are reported to be getting updates which include the music app, movies and widgets.
It would appear that existing Android 3.1 tablets, like the Motorola Xoom will get the Android 3.2 update over the next few weeks, and it will then be rolled out to other tablets, including 7 inch ones over the summer.
