Earlier this month, it was reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in Poland and Russia received Android 4.4 KitKat update, in a form of a limited roll out via Kies.
Well, according to a new reports on XDA Forum and Sammobile, the new update is rolling out in other parts of the world as well, for both the LTE-support SM-N9005 and 3G-enabled SM-N900.
According to the reports, users in Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland, Hungary, India and Korea are getting the update for both the LTE and 3G variants of the device. Many users suggest that it doesn’t bring many advance changes to the OS, except the Android 4.4 KitKat goodies such as white status bar icons, transparent taskbar, improved memory optimizations, improved keyboard, and more.
The update is sized at around 380MB and updates the build number to KOT49H. The update is available over-the-air and via Kies as well. If you’re too impatient for the notification to pop up on your screen, you can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings, and go to About phone > Software Update.
