Screenwriters might be interested to know that Amazon has this week announced the launch of a new free screenwriting tool called Amazon Storywriter that is now available to use onto mobile devices, tablets and laptops.
Amazon has designed the Amazon Storywriter application to automatically format your screenplay as you type, enabling writers to focus on the story at hand without any distractions form keeping an eye on the correct format required.

Import from and export to your favorite formats : Import your FDX, Fountain, PDF, or RTF screenplays to use all of Amazon Storywriter’s great features. When you’re ready, export your screenplay in any of these popular formats.
Submit your finished script to Amazon Studios : Amazon Studios is producing bold, original movies and award-winning series. Submit your script directly from Amazon Storywriter through Amazon Studios’ open-door process to be considered for their development slate.
