Amazon’s new Kindle Fire Android tablet will go on sale in the US on the 7th of November for $199, and it looks like Amazon will have a range of new content available on their new Android tablet at launch.
Amazon has announced that they have signed content deals with Disney-ABC Television, which will bring popular shows like Lost and Greys Anatomy, as well as many more shows to the Kindle Fire tablet and also Amazon prime customers.
“We are excited to add some of the very best content available from Disney-ABC to Prime instant video,” said Brad Beale, director of video content acquisition for Amazon. “This includes every episode of past seasons from the ABC hits Lost and Grey’s Anatomy, fan favorites like Felicity and Greek, the popular Disney Channel show Phineas & Ferb and great animated series from Marvel. We’re working hard to add even more selection for Kindle Fire customers and Prime members leading up to the holidays, and expect to have nearly 13,000 titles available in Prime instant video by early next year.”
The Amazon Kindle fire is reported to have received a large amount of pre-orders and it looks like it may end up being this years most popular Android tablet, and could end up being the most popular Android tablet so far when it goes on sale next month.
